Brussels based full-time painter, loving banal and daily life subjects.
After showing the original #nocarbs painting in the ENCORE space of Alice Gallery in Brussels in September 2018, the story had kept me interested so I decided to make a sequel: a limited edition series of 10 fresh hotdogs.
The 10 new #nocarbs paintings are similar to the original: same size, same vertical direction of the canvas, same NO CARBS caption at the bottom and same wooden frame.
Of course the hotdog remains the image that is prominent in your face :-) Only have I chosen to paint a different one each time to keep it fun for myself.
The 10 works are each unique yet they blend together as a coherent whole.
